 HVAC System Adjustment & Verified Efficiency (HVAC SAVE)

Presenter: Silas Hoeppner of Energy Stewards International, Inc. (ESI)

 

The SAVE program is a regional HVAC contractor training and certification initiative based on National Comfort Institute (NCI) principles. This training teaches the skills necessary to determine actual effective efficiency of any functioning HVAC system and includes hands on demonstrations on how to perform critical HVAC diagnostics. Students who successfully pass the exam will receive the SAVE certification indicating their competency in HVAC performance and verification testing.

Rural Energy for America Program 

The Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) associated with the recently published REAP interim rule and Notice of Funds Availability (NOFA). The Rural Energy for America Program was authorized by Congress in the Farm Bill for the purposes of providing financial assistance for energy efficiency improvements, renewable energy systems, energy audits, and feasibility studies. The webinar will discuss how energy efficiency improvement projects may apply and compete for program funds. The webinar will provide an introduction to the program including a discussion of funds available, eligibility requirements, and an overview of the application process.
