Iowa Association for Energy Efficiency

IAEE Accepting Board Nominations

Help usher energy efficiency in Iowa into a new era, further engage IAEE members, and forge new partnerships across sectors.

The Iowa Association for Energy Efficiency is accepting nominations for its Board of Directors from October 5-18. There are up to eight open positions available for two-year terms, serving January 2020 through December 2021. This is an exciting time to join the Board, as we finalize and begin implementing a new 3-year strategic plan that sees us building new partnerships and deepening our impact, among other efforts.

To be nominated for a Board position, two conditions must be met:

  1. Members submitting a nomination for election must have a current, valid, and unexpired membership in the Association.
  2. No company, organization, or subsidiary of such company or organization shall have more than one representative on the voting Board of Directors at any given time.

Nominations should include the member's name, title, and company, experience in the energy efficiency sector, a brief explanation of why they are interested in serving, and any other information that would inform the membership. This information will be posted for the membership to consider as they cast their ballots.

Board of Director responsibilities are detailed here, and we strongly encourage nominees to review before submitting. Email your nomination to dhaase@iowaenergy.org by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2019. If you have questions, please feel free to contact Bonnie Donnolly, Chair of the Nominating Committee, at 319-551-3469.

We hope you'll consider this opportunity to help shape Iowa's energy future!
